I'm in mourning...
Today in the mail I received the final issue of my favorite magazine: Wish magazine. They have stopped publishing at the end of 2008 because of the economy. It had a little bit of everything: beauty, fashion, food, entertaining, home and decor. Best of all it was Canadian, so I know that the prices of the products featured in the magazine were in Canadian and that I could buy these products in Canada. Some Amercian magazines are great too, but some American companies don't ship to Canada so sometimes it's disappointing to find a great product and then find out I can't have it. I am now in a search of another great magazine to subscribe to, however I doubt I will find one as great as Wish! I will miss the 20-minute supper club feature in each issue...

Have you ever lost a camera?
I never have. But now I know there is something I can do if I ever find a camera, USB stick or memory stick! Some photos from a found camera can get posted to this website called IFoundYourCamera to help the owner reunite with his camera! The website asks if anyone knows who the people are in the pictures. They also state where the camera was found.
There might be hope that your precious memories are not lost forever!

Nintendo DS cozy
When I was younger, my mother taught me how to knit. I started with dishcloths. When I got bored with that, I found "cooler" stuff to do than knit, but a few years ago I got back into knitting and taught myself how to do more advanced stitches and how to read a pattern (with a little help from my mom, but soon I started to do things she thought were too advanced for her to do). I had just bought a Nintendo DS, and wanted a case to keep it free from scratches, but all the ones in stores were just black and boring, so I decided to knit one! It's brown with a pink and white argyle print.
