Springtime snowfall

This is a picture I took this morning of the Student Union Building at Dalhousie University on my way to class with my camera phone. The snow is fresh and pretty on the trees.

Birthday events

For my birthday, a few of my classmates and I went to Clay Cafe to paint pottery. I did a small vase and the others made a tealight candle holder and a turtle.

After the painting, the pottery goes into a kiln for 24 hours. This is the after photo. My vase looks much better in person.

Snow and bow

Last night it snowed. I love it when there is no wind so the snow stays on the trees so they look half white!

This afternoon, my floor was decorating the lounge with Christmas decorations. Someone was thoughtful to put a bow on my door.

Parade of Lights

This evening I went to see the Halifax Parade of Lights. It was pouring rain, so I got soaked everywhere except for my feet thanks to my great Columbia boots! Here are a few photos: Santa, The Grinch and dancing cows.
